LVSRA has been affiliated with the American Radio Relay
League since 1930 and was incorporated in 1977 for the purpose of information
exchange, to promote radio knowledge, fraternize with other radio operators for
efficiency and cooperation between members, to conduct club programs and
activities so as to promote an interest in amateur radio, and to provide
emergency communications to the community.
The LVSRA's main 2 meter repeater is known as the Lebanon
Repeater. It is located on the mountaintop south of Lebanon on the Lebanon /
Lancaster county line. Operating on 147.315 (+), PL tone 82.5, K3LV/R provides
good mobile coverage of Lebanon and Lancaster counties, as well as coverage into
surrounding counties of York, Cumberland, Dauphin, Berks, Schuylkill, and
Chester.
The club holds regular meetings on the 3rd Saturday of each
month at Heisey's Diner on PA Rt. 72, a few miles north of Lebanon, at 8:00 AM.
We also hold an informal information net on the 147.315
repeater every Tuesday evening at 8:00 PM.
All radio amateurs are welcome to join us on the air or at
the monthly breakfast meetings.
